Steven Blakesley began
his journalism career in 2003, handling freelance work for The
Placer Herald and Roseville Press Tribune, while managing PR at All
American Speedway in Roseville, CA. He completed one semester on his college newspaper staff
and has covered more than a dozen different sports.
Blakesley was the
motorsports beat reporter for Gold Country Media. He also covered
three high school beats and two college beats for the sports
department.
